Change Management

Navigate change and uncertainty

”Psychological transition depends on letting go of the old reality and the old identity you had before the change took place”

William Bridges: Managing Transitions

I employ a systematic approach to change management, working closely with leaders and their teams.

I draw inspiration from William Bridges' concept of transitions: 'Transitions start with an ending and finish with a beginning.' I understand that psychological transition requires letting go of old realities and identities. I recognize that feelings of loss and grief are integral parts of transitions, and that resistance often stems from these losses rather than the change itself.

My strategy involves creating a supportive space for leaders to navigate the pressures from both higher management and their teams. This space allows leaders to find support and inspiration, helping them steer their organizations through the uncertainties of change.

Utilizing the ADKAR model, I address the five critical elements of successful change: Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, and Reinforcement.

As the project manager of a complex change, I had the pleasure of working alongside Marisa, who joined as the change manager. Her proactive support was invaluable, ensuring project managers and leaders never navigated transitions alone. She provided the essential tools and support needed to manage the people side of change effectively and driving successful outcomes.
